Lancaster, PA

The location for our first retreat is Lancaster, PA. We chose Lancaster because it is rich in history and has a growing, thriving art community. There are farmers markets, antique shops, and boutiques throughout the area.

I recently took a trip to Lancaster to visit some shops and to see the retreat house. This is where we will be staying. I didn't get a picture, but there is a fire pit and a hot tub in the back yard.

Building Character is a marketplace of vintage, recycled and hand made goods. So many cool things to see, more than 40 little shops under one roof. There are also so many shops within walking distance that I am sure everyone will be able to find things that they love, or just be able to get inspiration from the things that they see.

 I can't wait to see what goodies everyone will find when we go shopping together!
