I know we are getting excited and we hope our guests are getting excited too! We CAN NOT wait host our first event this coming May in beautiful Lancaster, PA.
Kim and I have been busy scheming ideas for projects. We have made the final list, but of course we want it to be a surprise for our guests! As we get closer to the retreat there will be a few sneaks on IG I'm sure and maybe here on the blog too. We want to share all the goodness we are planning with everyone so you can see how awesome the Make It Retreat is sure to be!
Upon arrival, guests will have a chance to mingle and get to know one another for a bit. Then we will jump right into our first activity, an interactive photography workshop. Guests will learn the basics of DSLR photography and how to capture all those little moments we as moms hold so dear. My dear friend Liz Saucier will be conducting the photography workshop and I for one and stoked to learn even a smidgin of her knowledge.
Over the course of the weekend, guests will participate in 6 projects, ranging from sewing to painting, and everything in between.
Kim and I are also busy planning dates for our 2015 fall retreat. We hope to announce the dates for this in the next few weeks. We are also looking to plan a few day/night workshops, in both Maryland and Massachusetts.
